Farther Away Than I Was Before is an album I have spent countless hours on over the last several months. Finishing this album felt like symbolically closing a chapter of my life that began well before I started releasing music. The cold and haunting strings of (Intro) still bring be back to the night in January when I began recording that song. I see the progression of songs as a progression towards warmth, openness, and hope.
